Sometimes I wonder, how can a beautiful being like yourself acquaint yourself with someone as flawed as me? And when you smile at me, I stop wondering and just hold your hand tightly, hoping all of this is not a dream.

Thoth is the Egyptian god of writing, wisdom, and knowledge. Sometimes he is also referred to as a lunar deity and is often depicted wearing a lunar-like headdress. He is the patron of scribes, and is honored as the inventor of the sciences, magic, art, astronomy, medicine, and law. He judges the dead by weighing their hearts on a feather that represented truth, and is known to be fair and impartial. He is identified as the son of Ra, representing his heart and tongue.
He isn’t my patron, but I’ve always had an afinity and a great respect for Thoth. If Bella would like any Egyptian god, I’d think it would be him. ;-)

Soulmates
I know you don’t believe in soulmates, but you’ve called me yours before. You said that if they existed, I’d surely be yours. I believe that. I’ve always believed it. Because for some reason, I’ve always believed in them, and I’ve known mine was out there somewhere. It was like a silent call I wanted to answer, if only I could find where it was coming from. I feel it was coming from you, that we were calling out to each other. Whether there can be more than one person that’s right for you, I don’t know. I’ve never felt love for anyone the way I do for you; in that enduring way I know is meant to last.
